Having never had acupuncture I was very skeptical but I tried it only because I had run out of avenues. I had suffered with severe lower back pain that radiated to the front for years. My doctor was wanting to start me on pain pills.
I was not looking forward to that, so when my doctor suggested I try alternative medicine I agreed. I never thought that making the decision to try acupuncture would change my life as it has.
I met Dr. Yao and she explained the “Chi” [Qi] and I listened carefully. I can honestly tell you that when I left the office after my 1stsession, I had made up my mind that I was not coming back, but by the time I got home, I noticed a difference in the way I felt.
I went back to the next appointment and continued after that because I felt better each time. The pain I had experienced for years in my lower back is now gone. Completely gone!
I continue to have acupuncture but now it is for help with my hot flashes and acupuncture has helped me with that also.
All I can say is it works. I am a changed person because of it. Dr.Yao is very kind and professional; I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
