The Peace You Have Given Me Is Overwhelming!
Dear Dr. Yao: I am writing to you with so much gratitude. The peace you have given me (and all my friends that I’ve referred to you), is overwhelming. I came to you with diverticulitis, and inflammation. My first visit, where you knew nothing about me at all, you asked “how are my emotions”-I answered you-Not good! For three weeks you worked on my “diverticulitis” and said to me, “have I mentioned your emotions are not good?” I laughed and said- that is the reason I believe in you- and yes you did. You told me that I was depressed and had anxiety, but also mentioned that weight around my stomach, that you could help me with that. You couldn’t have been more RIGHT! I feel a peace in my soul, losing my...
Dr. Yao’s Holistic Approach-More Than What I expected
Dr Yao has been both a Dr and a friend since December, 2013. My first visit to her was for what I thought were allergy related respiratory issues. Turns out, they weren’t. At least, if they were, they could not be resolved by years of allergy shots, nasal sprays, and various pills. At the time I was taking a variety of meds and receiving weekly allergy shots. Within months after that first visit, I no longer had the persistent allergic rhinitis, runny nose, post nasal drip, asthmatic lung issues, and so on. Dr Yao’s holistic approach to medicine via Traditional Chinese acupuncture, cupping, use of herbs, etc. has also helped me with upper sinus problems, digestive issues, a rare blood disorder and Erythromelalgia-a...
Dr. Yao’s Acupuncture Helped me Recover from Guillian Barre Syndrome
My name is Lourdes and I have been a patient of Dr. Yao for the past five years, mostly for help with sinus infections. In July of 2018 I was diagnosed with Guillian Barre Syndrome which left me paralyzed from the neck down. I had physical and occupational therapy at the hospital and later at a rehabilitation center. After returning home, I continued with these therapies until the end of December 2018. At that time I could only take three or four steps with assistance and could not feed myself. On January 15, 2019 I had my first visit with Dr. Yao since getting sick with GBS, and I was able to walk that same day. It has been a year since I was diagnosed with GBS and I am almost back to my normal life. Dr. Yao’s acupuncture treatments have...
